Rejuran Launch Symposium Excites Australian Cosmetic Injectors
By Kaitlyn Shin

The salmon derived injectable gathered a keen crowd.
On Sunday, hundreds of cosmetic injectors from around Australia spent the day at Sydney’s W Hotel learning all about the new injectable on the block, Rejuran. Distributed by KBridge in Australia, led by Kaitlyn Shin, Rejuran has been trialled and tested for many years overseas, developed and created in Korea, the land of ‘glass skin’.
MC’ed by Dr Steven Liew, the program included national and international speakers Dr Michael J. Kim and Nark-Kyong Rho, who not only explained the science behind Rejuran, but also candidly discussed their own experience with the product. Prof Chee Youb Won, the CTO of PharmaResearch, the creators of Rejuran, explained the science of the product and how it is made. Derived from wild Korean salmon testes, the injectable uses the salmon’s DNA and so-called DOT technology (DNA Optimising Technology) to support dermal restoration and improve the appearance of skin.
Speakers including Dr Cara McDonald, Dr Davin Lim, Dr Emma Kim, Dr Eric Song, Dr Gavin Chan and Dr Jake Sloane, showed the audience before and afters they have achieved with Rejuran, explaining their own opinion on areas it has worked particularly well in (the consensus was that Rejuran works really well on fine lines around the eye area, and areas where a multi-modality approach may be needed.
All practitioners agreed that Rejuran is a welcome addition to their offering as it presents a completely new category in injectables.
After a Korean-themed lunch, the day concluded with live demonstrations of Rejuran treatments on stage and a chance for delegates to ask any questions they had. See below a few impressions of the very successful Rejuran launch in Sydney:
